For MS/M.Phil Level:

Maximum age limit: 35 years at the time of application closing.
Applicants must have completed 16 years of education.
A minimum 2.5 CGPA out of 4.0 is required in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.

For PhD Level:

Age limit: 35 years for non-faculty members, 40 years for faculty members.
Applicants must have completed 18 years of education.
A minimum 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 is required in MS/MPhil.

Important Things To Keep In Mind!

Students must sign a legal agreement to return to Afghanistan after completing their studies.
Shortlisting is based on academic records and an Aptitude Test or Interview.
Students already benefiting from other HEC or Government of Pakistan scholarships cannot apply.
Foreign qualifications must be approved by IBCC Pakistan or HEC Pakistan.
Clinical Medical Sciences are not covered under MS/PhD scholarships.
PhD applicants must have studied the same subject during MS/MPhil.
Proper identification (Passport or Electronic Tazkira) is required for exams.
Applications are only accepted online. Hard copies will not be entertained.
The scholarship process may be postponed or canceled by HEC at any stage without explanation.
